DESCRIPTION
Audemars Piguet’s in-house designer Emmanuel Gueit was set the task to retain the iconic Genta design of the Royal Oak when creating a new model: the OffShore. After four years of work, the final result was presented at Basel Fair 1993.
The present example is part of the First Series (n° 239) and is accompanied by its original box (yes, the one with the transparent top and blue edging) and the Audemars Piguet “Extract de Registre” from February 2021. Further, it features the very rare original folding clasp and the small Tapisserie dial.
